The 27th International Conference on Information Fusion (FUSION 2024) conference took place on 07-11.07.2024, in Venice, Italy.
With the proliferation of sensor technology and ever-increasing amounts of data generated, Information Fusion is critical for combining noisy and possibly conflicting observations from various sensors and actors into actionable, coherent information about the underlying situation. The 27th International Conference on Information Fusion (FUSION 2024) provided a scientific forum for researchers and practitioners from academia, industry, and government agencies to discuss the latest advancements on classical model-based and emerging data-driven autonomous methodologies on sensor, data, information and knowledge fusion, new system frameworks, hybrid processing techniques, and the associated challenges at the systemic level, including system design paradigms and issues of system control, management, test, and evaluation.
EVENTS project, through its partner UULM, proposed a special session at the FUSION 2024 conference, entitled “Online Evaluation of Filter Algorithms: Monitoring, Self-Assessment, Noise Estimation, Maneuvering Targets, and Adaptation“.
Three (3) papers have been accepted for publication, as part of this special session, at the FUSION 2024 conference:
- A paper entitled “Adaptive Kalman Filtering Based on Subjective Logic Self-Assessment“, was submitted by Thomas Griebel, Johannes Müller, Michael Buchholz, and Klaus Dietmayer . The paper is available here.
- A paper entitled “Conflict Handling in Time-Dependent Subjective Networks“, was submitted by Thomas Wodtko, Thomas Griebel, Alexander Scheible, and Michael Buchholz. The paper will be available here soon. This paper was jointly prepared within EVENTS and PoDIUM EU projects, as well as U-Shift II national project.
- A paper entitled “Self-Monitored Clutter Rate Estimation for the Labeled Multi-Bernoulli Filter“, was submitted by Alexander Scheible, Thomas Griebel, and Michael Buchholz. The paper is available here. This paper was jointly prepared within EVENTS and PoDIUM EU projects.
